The compact 5-seater Tucson could just be the tool Hyundai needs to tap the Indian SUV market. It looks muscular, has that SUV presence and it’s a diesel, the first in the class. Performance is sprightly from its CRDi engine, a comfy spacious and good looking interior and easy, if unexciting handling. It lacks the strength of a Honda or Toyota and its priced a bit too close to the CR-V.
It is 2.0 CRDi (4x4) capacity and Diesel with 1991 cc the company manual fwd Rs. 16,09,080*.
